State of Creator Posting 2026
Aggregate posting patterns across 5.6K posts published through Kreatix on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X, LinkedIn and Pinterest. Counts only: no captions, no per-account data.
1. Distribution across platforms
Multi-platform is the norm, but creators concentrate volume in one or two channels. Distribution by post count:
| Platform | Posts | Share |
|---|---|---|
| 1,855 | 33.2% | |
| 1,737 | 31.1% | |
| Tiktok | 1,378 | 24.7% |
| Youtube | 619 | 11.1% |
2. Hour-of-day pattern
Publishing concentrates in the 09:00-10:00 and 15:00-16:00 UTC windows. Peak hour across all platforms is 15:00 UTC.
3. Day-of-week pattern
Weekdays dominate. Saturday and Sunday volume runs roughly 30% lighter than midweek.
| Day | Posts |
|---|---|
| Mon | 755 |
| Tue | 821 |
| Wed | 704 |
| Thu | 849 |
| Fri | 789 |
| Sat | 852 |
| Sun | 819 |
4. Caption length
Medium-length captions (50-150 characters) dominate.
| Range | Posts |
|---|---|
| Short (<50 chars) | 132 |
| Medium (50-150 chars) | 1,118 |
| Long (150-500 chars) | 3,512 |
| Very long (500+ chars) | 827 |
Methodology
Aggregates are computed from posts published successfully through Kreatix on the four supported platforms. Time fields are server-local (UTC). Caption-length buckets count characters, not words. The sample skews toward small and mid-sized creators (1K-500K followers). We do not access or expose individual captions or per-account metrics.
